Based in Canada & Jamaica, Gold Up is led by founder and CEO Raphael (from France) and Dancehall’s composer Zack Ariyah. Making its debut in 2018 with the release of their single "Belong With Me" featuring Jamaica’s now international sensation Shenseea - currently holds over 2.6 million views on YouTube.
They quickly found their groove and started releasing more heavy hitting tracks such as Reggae rooted Iba Mahr's “Concentrate”. Throughout 2019, Gold Up had the opportunity to collaborate with many talented artists from Jamaica, Canada, Trinidad and Ghana, leading them to release their debut album early 2020 entitled “Prelude.”
Gold Up began working with some of Dancehall's iconic artists - Konshens, Aidonia, Mr Vegas, Chronic Law, that cemented their fan base and lead them to surpass over 4 million streams on Spotify.
Last year 2021, Gold Up made waves with their viral single "Barrel" featuring Badda General and Zj Liquid. That single earned a remix with Ghanaian “King of Dancehall” Shatta Wale and UK based dancehall artist Stylo G. Another banger titled "Blow Up" followed, where Shatta Wale in collaboration with Jamaica's top trending artist Skillibeng hit #1 on Apple Charts.
"Mi Nice Mi Nuh Drunk" by Kyodi then rocked the airwaves and took over the Jamaican’s streets, before their latest release "Bubble It" with Dancehall’s legend Busy Signal, catapulted Gold Up onto the mainstream stages. Followed by another instant viral song "Bird" with Laa Lee. Thousands of fans took over the "Bird" dance on social medias leading them to surpasse 4 million view on Youtube. It is safe to say that their creativity and originality of mixing different influences in their productions is making the difference and Gold Up is just starting! Ready for 2022 now!
With over 15 million streams around the world, fans are now requesting to hear Gold Up play in their city and Gold Up is eagerly anticipating uplifting their audience with high energy and positive music.
